A 30-day content calendar for small businesses

Tips & Turtorials

Most small businesses do not run out of products to post about. They run out of a plan. This four-week structure removes the daily question of what to post.

Step 1: choose three content pillars. For example: your product, your people, and proof that it works.

Step 2: follow the four-week arc.

Week Theme Post Ideas
1
Introduce
Our story, meet the team, how a product is made, a day at the shop
2
Teach
A tip, a how-to, a myth busted, answers to your most common questions
3
Prove
Customer reviews, before and after, a delivery or event photo, a thank-you
4
Offer
A launch, an offer, a festival greeting, a clear call to action (“Message us to order”)

Step 3: set a rhythm you can keep. Four posts a week plus a few stories is enough. Consistency matters more than volume.

Step 4: batch the work. Design and write a week of posts in one sitting, then schedule them with a free tool such as Meta Business Suite.

Step 5: leave time for revisions. Our social media manager describes how a single post comes together through shared screens, quick calls and constant revisions. Good content rarely appears in one draft, so plan for that.

At the end of the 30 days, compare the weeks. Repeat the theme that brought the most messages.
